⚠️🪟 STAINED GLASS SAFETY

Because this is a true start-to-finish stained glass workshop, participants will be working with real stained glass tools and materials, including glass cutters, sharp glass edges, grinders, soldering irons, flux and solder.

Safety instruction will be provided throughout the workshop, and all participants must follow the instructor’s directions.

🥽 Safety glasses are required while cutting, breaking and grinding glass.

👟 Closed-toe shoes are required. No sandals or open-toe shoes, please.

🔥 Soldering irons are extremely hot. Participants will receive instruction on safe handling before soldering.

🧪 Flux and soldering materials must be handled according to the instructor’s directions. Participants should wash their hands thoroughly after working with stained glass materials.

🩹 Working with glass involves sharp edges. Even when proper safety precautions are followed, minor cuts are possible.

💇‍♀️ Long hair should be secured when using equipment.

👕 We recommend comfortable clothing appropriate for a hands-on art workshop.

❤️ Your safety is important to us! Proper use of tools, equipment and materials will be demonstrated before each stage of the project.
